New Villa & Gästhus set within the forest.
Set within a picturesque forest glen, on the island of Torö, this sustainable development is currently under construction. The project is conceived as a series of intriguing, sculptural and rustic forms nestled in the forest.
Sculptural objects & landscape links.
Untreated wood paneling, wood shingles and green roofs are used to ‘blend’ new built elements into this forest setting. Concrete, a contrasting material, is used to make plinths, paths and walls in the landscape which connect different buildings and define the outdoor environment.

Acoustics in mind.
Our clients are very musical. So designing to incorporate a Salon Grand piano became a key part of the brief. The main living space has been designed to enhance acoustics - including careful consideration of room proportions, avoiding right angles and creating a space which increases in volume away from the piano.
