A new mountain cabin, crafted around our client’s wishes, set within the skiing and outdoor activity hub of Tänndalen. A slightly more contemporary twist on the traditional architecture of the region, this Fritidshus is designed to blend harmoniously into its surroundings. Construction complete (photos awaited).

Contemporary yet contextual.
The building’s form references traditional architecture of the region. Untreated larch shingles, covering facades and roof, help harmonise the new building within this natural environment.
Smart yet rustic.
Simple, unfussy details and robust materials - such as chunky wooden slats and galvanised steel gutters with rainchains - create a more rustic feel as befitting this building’s environment and function.
